Ghost Recon: Future Soldier first gameplay video shows off gadgets

"Only the dead fight fair." It's the provocative tagline to Ubisoft's long-delayed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The next Tom Clancy game is set to arrive on Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 22nd, and it will have you utilizing a number of futuristic gadgets--from cloaking to sensors that see through walls--to take down hostiles and save civilians. "Fans of the series might be perturbed by the heavy action focus," Xav's E3 preview noted. That vibe continues with the game's gameplay debut trailer. While the action-packed montage evokes the Modern Warfare 3 trailer, it does show off some of the game's more tactical offerings. Hopefully, Xav's fears will be assuaged in the final game. "There wasn't a single moment where I felt like I had discovered a tactical way to dispatch enemies," he wrote at E3. "They were just the next few that the linear level put in my way." A beta will be available in April for both PS3 and Xbox 360. Future Soldier will also be on PC, after the console launch.

      Huh.. I didn't know there was another Rainbow Six Vegas coming out. Oh, that says ghost recon. Looks like the same engine/graphics from R6V. Can't wait for those new consoles, then PC can get better games...not that this games look that good but at least it can have shiny graphics.

        Yah, I thought this looked more like a R6 game than a GR game, simply from the game style and mechanics. The graphics look like they did from GRAW2.

      WTF happened to this game?? They completely changed it. Anyone else remember the original footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hhq7-wo11h4 . The game looked so badass back then and was my no. 1 anticipated game. Now I don't even care about it anymore. They dumbed down the graphics and the gameplay.

      I never cared for the Vegas games, but the guns, themselves, have always felt good in Clancy shooters.

      I really hope this is good. I loved the Advanced Warfighter Games but this isn't looking too hot. Please be good because I cant play COD or Battlefield anymore. If this sucks it may mean I'm done with FPS war games.

      Total garbage. Nice of Ubisoft to completely destroy the Ghost Recon name once and for all. Played through the original games recently on co-op and they were brilliant, old fashioned stealth action, not this Call of Wank bollocks. I feel old..

      That "camo" looked about as effective as a bright pink shirt. MGS4's concept for futuristic camo was a lot better
