    Yea, most are expecting that the movie will primarily focus on cases 1,2 and 4 of the first game. (The Steel Samauri one is mostly unrelated to those). It establishes who Phoenix, Mia, Maya, and Edgeworth are, and are a reasonably resolved plot unto themselves.
    
    If anything, it could just be on case 4 flashing back to the key points of 1 and 2 to establish the characters. Mind you, there's hints that they've loaded a few other characters for possible future movies.
