Now, it appears as though the games included in the Silent Hill: HD Collection are likely to see individual digital releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well, at least in Europe.
The European game ratings entity known as PEGI has recently rated both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 for both Sony and Microsoft's current generation of consoles.
Industry news site Siliconera also points out that Konami's Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection received similar treatment, with Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: PeaceWalker all receiving individual digital HD releases on the PlayStation Network in Japan. Those digital releases are also slated to hit on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in North America sometime in 2012.
The North American retail release of the Silent Hill: HD Collection is slated for a March 6 release.
