Next week will bring what we can only assume is the very final fantasy, a prelude by the name of Final Fantasy XIII-2. After that, surely no more. There are laws about false advertising, you know. We'll also see the launch of PixelJunk Eden and Pineapple Smash Crew on PC, Rebellion's NeverDead and flashy fighting game Soul Calibur V.

Here's our list of next week's new releases:

PC

Xbox 360

PlayStation 3

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo DS

the name neverdead is going to be ironic for this title

I forgot Soul Calibur 5 was coming out so soon, going to have to pick it up. I don't agree with a lot of the changes they put into this one, but SC has been my favorite fighting game series for a very long time. I even liked SC4 quite a bit too, although others didn't.

yeah, i'm not unhappy with the changes they've been doing but i've been through 5 of them already so i'll probably pick this up once it drops a bit in price

It's the only fighting game except street fighter which I ever bought. I really loved part 2, thought 3 was a decent sequel with ups and downs but I never really got into 4.

I have this one preordered, and just because it doesn't have any star wars in it makes it already a better game IMO

I agree, until I saw the game in the Target Ad, I had not idea the game was coming out. Was there a marketing push I didn't see?
