Sony Pictures also showed off the first trailer to the next live-action Resident Evil film. Resident Evil: Retribution looks just as unconnected to the games as the films that preceded it. However, early reports indicate that director Paul W.S. Anderson is attempting to throw a few more nods to the original games. Characters like Wesker and Jill Valentine will return, while Barry Burton, Leon S. Kennedy, and (as seen in the trailer) Ada, will all make appearances.
The movie is set for a September 14th release. Check out the trailer after the break.
