Max Payne 3 trailer breaks out the big guns
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 18, 2012 5:15pm PSTHave you found yourself preoccupied with thoughts of diving through windows and shooting men in slow-motion? Don't worry, now that Max Payne 3 has been delayed, that's perfectly natural. Simply watch the new trailer focused on weapons and targeting, and you'll find any itching in your trigger finger will soon subside.
The video covers topics including Max's swish movement, mixed dual-wielding, the new inventory system, and how all this plays with the lovely-looking animation tech.
Max Payne 3 is now slated to dive onto Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 15, while the PC edition isn't due until May 29. Rockstar said it had no comment when asked by Shacknews to explain the disparity. Following the delay, Rockstar has extended the deadline for pre-ordering MP3's statue-toting Special Edition. The $100 pack o' swank will now be sold until April 2.
