Fans of the classic PC adventure game Another World will soon have another way to play. DotEmu has announced that it will be bringing the 20th Anniversary edition of the game to Android devices. This comes only a few months after the iOS version, and packs the same features.

Those features include the ability to switch between regular and HD graphics, remastered music and sound effects, touch-based controls, and three difficulty levels. Those include "Difficult" for the challenge of the original, "Normal" to make it easier, and "Hardcore" for harder. It will also sport achievements with OpenFeint. A release date wasn't given with the announcement.

I first played "Out of this world" on my first PC, a 386sx. The intro animation was so cool at the time, it had this awesome moodiness to it. The game was a lot of fun but required precision moves so I wound up playing the same parts over and over. I always loved his gun and the way it worked. So it's pretty amazing to see it released on new platforms all of these years later. One of my favorite classic games.
