TERA eyes May launch for North America, Europe

The upcoming "action MMO title" The Exiled Realm of Arborea (commonly referred to as TERA) has finally been given a release date.

The upcoming "action MMO title" The Exiled Realm of Arborea (commonly referred to as TERA) has finally been given a release date. The Bluehole Studio-developed title will launch in North America on May 1, 2012, courtesy of publisher En Masse Entertainment.

TERA's European launch will follow on May 3 from publisher Frogster Interactive Pictures. The game will be available in standard and collector's edition flavors at retail and online.

The South Korea-based developer had previously released the game in its homeland on January 25, 2011.

      The trailer makes it look like your run of the mill fantasy MMO, honestly. Everyone was just standing in once place and using the same attack over and over.

        Ugh. Those animations and combat sameness that look exactly like other MMOs don't help to sell this game as anything more than bland and generic. Pass.
