The insanely gorgeous Insanely Twisted Planet appears to be heading to the PC. Originally an Xbox Live Summer of Arcade release, the Metroidvania-inspired shooter has been re-rated by the ESRB for release on Windows PCs.

A PC release is likely, given XBLA games' penchant for reappearing on other platforms. For example, Bastion and From Dust have already received PC ports.

While the ESRB rating makes a PC release likely, the developer recently went on Twitter to offer a wink smiley face in regards to the listing. While not an official confirmation, it seems as if PC gamers won't have to wait long for the game's release.

Very cool. Since it's XBLA shouldn't it support the 360 controller natively? Also I hope it's steamworks.
