Syndicate classic hitting GOG this week
by Steve Watts, Jan 17, 2012 11:30am PSTThe Syndicate reboot is due next month, bringing some radical changes to the series for long-time fans. If you've never played the classic Syndicate complete with its isometric perspective, Good Old Games will give you that chance starting on Thursday.
The game will be available on GOG for $5.99 on January 19, and includes the game manual, dark SF artworks, and avatars, according to today's announcement. The service is also hosting a contest to make your own Syndicate team -- real or fictitious. You can pick a team name, your method of operation, and any other relevant details. 10 teams will be chosen when the contest ends on Thursday at 7 AM EST, and they'll each get free copies of the classic.
GOG notes that it is running similar giveaways on Twitter and Facebook. Feel free to enter them all, but only once per contest.
