PlayStation 3 accessories officially on sale via Play Days promo
by Andrew Yoon, Dec 26, 2011 3:00pm PSTSure, when people talk about "holiday traditions," they think of feasting and presents. But why do people always forget about the consequences? You'll inevitably gain a few pounds, and get that horrible feeling of disdain as the gifts you've bought for others go on sale--immediately after you've purchased them.
Sony is ensuring you feel the post-holiday shopping guilt by introducing the "Play Days" campaign. From now until January 21, select PlayStation 3 accessories will be officially marked down.
PlayStation Move bundles are on sale, with the Sports Champions and Deadmund's Quest Bundle available for only $80. The PlayStation Move motion controller drops from $50 to $40, while the navigation controller drops from $30 to $20.
The wireless stereo headset drops from $100 to $90, while the PlayStation 3D display drops from $500 to $400. (Pick up some 3D glasses for $50, instead of $70 while you're at it!)
The entire list of deals can be perused on the PlayStation.Blog. The sale prices can be found at a number of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Gamestop, Kmart, Sears, Sony Retail Stores, Target, and Toys R Us.
