Michael Buble moves to CityVille for Xmas

This year, if some humbug tries to tell you that there's no such thing as a Christmas miracle, tell them they need look no further than Zynga's social city-building sim, CityVille. The developer announced today that one of Canada's crooners is making an in-game appearance this year.

Ladies and gentlemen of CityVille, meet your new virtual neighbor, Michael Bublé!

According to the official announcement, players will be able to mingle with Bublé's avatar, participate in new Bublé-driven quests, and see an CityVille-exclusive video featuring--you guessed it--Bublé, himself. "Michael will help players in CityVille jingle their bells in a way like never before," claims the disturbingly euphemistic announcement.

Not enough Bublé for you? You'll also be able to hang out with his band around a bonfire, and the quests you'll undertake in the name of his dulcet tones yield special in-game items that represent what Mike wants under his tree, like a "Segway, turntable, sushi, hockey stick, and a tie."

Bublé joins other previous CityVille celebrity tie-ins Enrique Iglesias and Michael Jackson (posthumously), so he's in good--if ridiculously eclectic--company.
