Xbox 360 continues its slow expansion of entertainment options, enabled by the latest dashboard update. Now available to download on Xbox Live are Dailymotion and VUDU.

Dailymotion is a YouTube-esque video service that offers shorts and "funny and extreme videos" made by community members and partners. VUDU is an online movie rental service provided by Walmart, offering "the largest HD library" on the web.

Newcomers to VUDU are eligible to receive a $5 credit by downloading the app and using it. (If you've already received credit on the PS3 version of VUDU, you won't be eligible for this promotion.) As with all the other Xbox Live entertainment partners, accessing VUDU will require an Xbox Live Gold membership. For more info on the $5 credit, visit VUDU's website.

Today's update also includes a number of other countries as well. For example, 4 on Demand is now available in the UK, while MSN Video is now available in France. For the complete listing, visit Major Nelson.
