Renegade Ops DLC packs launching tomorrow

A double dose of downloadable content is set to arrive for Avalanche's top-down shooter Renegade Ops on Tuesday. The story-expanding 'Coldstrike Campaign' and car-adding 'Vehicle Pack' will screech onto PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

The Vehicle Pack does exactly what it says on the tin, adding new characters with their own vehicles. Crystal's "custom armored vehicle" can generate a force field, while Blazemo's off-roader spews fire and "enables you to drive across all terrains while destroying everything in your path." Splendid! The pack will cost you $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points).

The Coldstrike Campaign will introduce dastardly new villain Coldstrike, who you'll get to take on across three icy levels and new challenges. The frightful fiend is packing a new toy too, armed with Golems, "large armored Drone factories that continuously produce low-flying enemies." Coldstrike Campaign will cost $5 (400 MSP).
