Confused by Microsoft Points? Don't have space on your Xbox 360 hard drive? Love Capcom games? Capcom is releasing a compilation of eight of its XBLA games this holiday season. The Capcom Digital Collection will be available at retail stores and on disc for $39.99.

All games will preserve "all the features, online functionality and Achievements" as their download counterparts.

Included in the collection are the following games:

  • 1942: Joint Strike
  • Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
  • Final Fight Double Impact
  • Flock!
  • Rocketmen: Axis of Evil including Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus expansion
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
  • Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3

Unfortunately, this is far from a comprehensive offering of Capcom's XBLA games. Noteworthy omissions include the original Bionic Command Rearmed and Street Fighter: Third Strike. The quality of the games also wildly varies. Rocketmen only has a 57 on Metacritic, whereas Super Street Fighter II has an 88. Given the number of blunders included in this package, it may not be a great deal.

IMO, its worth it just for 1942, Final Fight, and Puzzle Fighter.
