While it may not have the same recognition as Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima's Zone of the Enders series has a passionate following. Kojima Productions is working on a Zone of the Enders collection, but what about a brand new game in the series?

"We want to make that game as well," the esteemed game director said. However, he noted that the team is currently incapable of making a true sequel.

"The only thing is that we don't have staff available to work on that game," Hideo Kojima told GamerFitNation in a video interview held during the Spike TV Video Game Awards. "So maybe if we have staff available to work on that game, we would like to make it, actually."

Previously, Kojima teased a Zone of the Enders game for 3DS. Did this project go by the wayside? Or is Kojima pulling a la li lu le lo on us?

So what is Kojima so busy with nowadays? Metal Gear Solid 5 is an inevitability, but Kojima recently admitted he has "no idea" what form that game will take. Still, Kojima seems rather content on perpetually teasing his fans. "For those of you desire for authentic stealth MGS, I want you to patiently wait for the sequel coming in future," he recently tweeted.
