Gears of War 3 Season Pass owners meet RAAM DLC snags
Gears of War 3's RAAM's Shadow DLC ran into some snags today. These have been mostly resolved, but Season Pass owners who purchased the DLC separately can contact Microsoft for a refund.
Gears of War 3's RAAM's Shadow downloadable content launches today, but some Season Pass users have been running into hitches along the way. Tweets from Epic's Rod Fergusson referred to trouble with the Season Pass owners unable to get their prepaid DLC "for free," and Microsoft is offering refunds to Season Pass owners who bought the DLC separately by accident.
The first tweet apologized for the delay in getting the Season Pass to work correctly, but a follow-up suggests the issue is resolved. Some Season Pass owners apparently bought the DLC and were charged, to which Fergusson suggests contacting Microsoft customer support. "My understanding is anyone making that mistake will get refunded," he said.
RAAM's Shadow is the first story pack for Gears of War 3, taking place before the series and starring Zeta Squad -- consisting of Michael Barrick, Lt. Minh Young Kim, Tai Kaliso, and new character Alicia Valera. You can also play as Gears 1 boss General RAAM. If you don't have the Season Pass, it will cost you $15 (1200 MSP).
