Capcom teases new Dead Rising

Capcom has teased a new entry in the Dead Rising series, apparently starring original protagonist Frank West again. The brief teaser suggests a new locale for this next installment, but we're left in the dark regarding any other details.

"I'm getting packing for my new adventure – camera, notebook and baseball bat," reads a message from 'Frank' on the Dead Rising Facebook page (via IGN). "What else would i need for a break in paradise?" The obvious implication is that Frank West will be visiting somewhere tropical for his undead-head-bashing, not unlike a certain other zombie game.

Now, whether this is Dead Rising 3, another downloadable title, or something else entirely, is up in the air. It does seem to cement Frank as the series' main hero going forward, though, after he starred in the first game and then the ret-conned Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. Poor Chuck may have fallen by the wayside.
