The Last Guardian executive producer leaves Sony

Earlier this week, it was rumored that director and iconic games director Fumito Ueda had resigned from Sony, to continue work on the follow-up to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in a freelance form. Today, there's confirmation that the game's executive producer has departed.
Yoshifusa Hayama, has left Sony to join social games company Bossa Studios, developers of Monstermind for Facebook.
"The future of gaming is definitely online and thanks to recent developments with Flash 11, there is no reason why a social game can no longer be as visually stunning and as compelling as the big console titles," Hayama explained in a press release acquired by Develop.
Ueda recently went on Twitter, telling fans that "there's no need to worry, as The Last Guardian is still in production." He, unfortunately, did not offer any clarification on his status as a Sony employee.
