The director of Xbox Live programming apologized for the delay, but did not detail why the update was held.

I really want this to go live so I can stop using account recovery every time I log in to XBL.

I hope the cloud profile and cloud saves are seamless use. I have an xbox upstairs and an xbox downstairs and being able to stop keeping my profile on a usb stick would be awesome.

I think it's just a general stress on XBL right now that is causing some odd connection behaviors. It will smooth out later tonight.

Lame. My 360 says it can connect to the internet, but cannot connect to XBOX Live.

For my gamertag do I just recover it to whatever 360s I want to play on and then don't worry about it anymore? I'm not worried about saves.

I can't move it to the cloud device like you do with a USB, because when you log out to move it, the cloud is no longer connected.
