Wasn't as good as the original, but it's still a solid shooter and better than the usual fare imo.

Does anyone know if you can activate that copy of Civ5 on steam? Been meaning to check it out and 7bucks seems like a good number for me to check it out

Civ V should be steamworks, so it should just be an instance of enter the cdkey.

The brink pack for $6.25 is totally worth it. I know a lot of people HATE it with a passion but I'm actually really enjoying it. Performance is hit and miss, but nothing experience breaking.

What's up with the game feeling like a 20fps game @ 180fps? Total game breaker for me, even for $6.

I don't get why people hate this game so much. Surely it's nothing ground breaking but it ain't bad either. Enjoyed the free weekend and bought it.

Concidering it doesn't run at all on WinXP and Radeon system like mine I don't think any discount will do it. Took me like a week to convince Valve to give me credit for it after I bought it for $40 on sale.

SR2 was very buggy on PC, which sucked a lot of fun out of it. Part of the reason SR3 is a better PC title this time around is because Volition learned from the mistakes they made on SR2.

        • reply
          December 2, 2011 9:07 PM

Volition didn't do the port for SR2, but they decided to stay in house for SR3 because of how shittily SR2 was received.

Those cheeky Amazon chaps pulled it.

It's unhelpful when they run deals which have a definite end time, but they neglect to mention when that time is.

I checked out Brink for this weekend due to it being FREE. If you run on over to the forums pretty much 85% of the ppl say Brink is garbage and for me that's not the case. While playing Brink I ended up buying it and buying the complete package which includes the main game and 3 DLC for the low low price of $6.25. It does have it's problems, but it's still very playable. The two main problems are low frame rates (sp is locked @ 30) and the really, really horrible AI, but then again so many games have horrible AI anyway so fuck it. Even so, buy it for the MP. Think of it as a Team Fortress game, but without the cartoony look.

Bionic Commando Rearmed for $2.99 is a great deal. Also, as I always say when I see it on sale, Darksiders is an amazing game and worth way more than the $4.99 it's on sale for.
