Saints Row: The Third website adds stat tracking, real-time map

SaintsRow.com is being updated with a new stat-tracker, and an interactive map that lets the community tag locations with tips and tricks.

Two million people have been "bludgeoned to death" by Saints Row: The Third's purple Penetrator, aka "Volition's deadly inspirational erotic device." According to new statistics released by THQ, over 5.8 billion virtual citizens have been killed since the release of the game, 44 million pimps and prostitutes have been dispatched in Whored Mode, and 650 hot dog mascots have been cooked to death with a flamethrower.

These statistics and more can you be yours to peruse through with new updates made to SaintsRow.com. On the updated community site, you'll be able to check out in-depth stats and compare your ranking to other friends.

For example, you'll be able to see how many pedestrians you and your friends have mowed over. You'll be able to see how much money you make per hour--proving that virtual crime is far more profitable than a real job.

In addition, there's a new interactive map feature, which is updated in real-time with a feed of all in-game activity. Community members will be able to add tips and tricks to the map, such as locations of secrets, and even attach screenshots to help each other discover the most out of Steelport. It's like an officially-sanctioned interactive Wiki strategy guide for the community.

Additional functionality is planned to be added in the coming weeks as well. Volition will hold "Community Challenges" on the Saints Row website as well. These challenges tie into the game, and will unlock extra content for use in-game.
