Sour Patch Kids game World Gone Sour announced, published by Capcom
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 30, 2011 10:30am PSTSneak King; Pepsiman; Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool; Yo! Noid. To this great pantheon of food-inspired advergames, Capcom hopes to add World Gone Sour, bringing the world of Sour Patch Kids sweeties to PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
The puzzle-platformer will see lost Sour Patch Kids venturing across our world, facing "deranged humans," "unusual candy enemies," and "one very angry wad of sticky chewing gum." Because some things should never be experienced alone, it also supports two-player local co-op.
Ensuring total sensory satisfaction, World Gone Sour will feature narration from The Office's Creed Bratton, not to mention the Sour Patch Kids rap by The Wire star Method Man (included below for your listening pleasure). What a treat!
Priced at $5, World Gone sour will hit PC this winter, then spread to XBLA and PSN in spring. Yes, you have to pay for this advertisement.
