Nintendo 3DS system update delayed to December
by Andrew Yoon, Nov 29, 2011 7:30am PSTThe next major 3DS firmware update, originally pegged for November, has been delayed. The update, which adds the ability to record up to ten minutes of 3D video, will now be available by December 8th.
Nintendo apologized for the delay, saying that it simply needed more time to deploy the update.
Other features included in the December system update include an expansion of the StreetPass Mii Plaza. New puzzles will be added to Puzzle Swap, and new areas will be introduced in StreetPass Quest.
Additionally, you'll be able to "perform a complete system transfer," including downloaded games, between two 3DS systems. This is undoubtedly a feature that will come in handy should Nintendo ever make a redesigned system.
