Heh, doesn't it seem like there are an awful lot of cards out there that are beating the pants off the v5 series? I feel bad for 3dfx because I knew this was going to happen. Sure the v6 will tear everyone a new asshole but hey... it most certainly will be a more expensive asshole then a next-gen GeForce2 or something. However, I will note that if Warcraft 3 is Glide only, I will drop all my biases, rip out my TNT2 and purchase a nice v5-5500 which I suspect will be pretty close to 200-230 by then.

47 and 48, quite INcorrect, sirs. Having just swapped my TNT2 and SLI rig out for the V5500, I'm quite familiar with the difference between 16bit and 32bit rendering.

In the 3dfx Tools, there's an option for GLide and OpenGL to force 32bit rendering. It works, and works superbly.

52, MAAN is, in fact, one of the better Shakespearean plays. (Bitch.)

I was looking around online and a good Geforce DDR (Hercules Prophet DDR) is $213 shipped. I think I would buy one of those rather than this card. looks like the performance is just as good/better and you get tv out and GOOD driver support. Just my opinion though
