Microsoft has kicked off a new promotion today, thanking its fans with a laundry list of discounts on a wide variety of content. Some of the highlights include reduced prices on Xbox Live Arcade titles such as Super Meat Boy and Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 for 400MS points ($5) a piece, and much more.

Also included in the sale are DLC packs for a variety of games, including Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and even Games on Demand titles. A full list of deals is available on Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb's blog.

Gamers without Xbox Live Gold can "upgrade" to 12 months of the service for 33% off the regular price. According to Major Nelson, more deals are planned for both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Of course, promotions may differ based on your region, so double-check those prices before you click "Buy."

Wow that's funny. Didn't "Super Meat Boy developer Team Meat says it will probably never work with Microsoft again?" Wonder what happened with all that fuss. I guess when you whine enough, you'll get more money!
