Dead Island 'Bloodbath Arena' DLC dated
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 14, 2011 7:45am PSTAfter many months of waiting, Dead Island's 'Bloodbath Arena' downloadable content will finally launch on November 22. The free pre-order incentive was originally slated to launch in September, but ended up delayed due to "further polishing of the main game."
Bloodbath Arena adds a wave survival mode with four arenas, playable in co-op or on your lonesome. Any experience and items you earn will be carried over into the regular campaign, and your zombie-slaying prowess will be tracked on online leaderboards.
Which is all good and well, but what we really want to see is its exclusive new "brain wave bomb" weapon in action. The combination of "brain" and "bomb" rarely disappoints.
Bloodbath Arena is headed to PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on November 22. It'll be free if you pre-ordered Dead Island, but otherwise run you $10 (800 Microsoft Points).
