THQ promised it would be working on nearly a year's worth of downloadable content for Saints Row: The Third. If you want to get it all at an "anticipated savings of more than 15 percent," you'll want to save up for the Saints Row Season Pass.

Following the trend started by LA Noire, and continued by many games since, purchasing the Season Pass will entitle you to upcoming DLC at a discounted rate. The Season Pass will include the "Nyte Blayde" DLC pack, which adds a vampire-hunting sports car, a motorcycle, and two outfits. In addition, you'll get three mission packs.

The first mission pack will be available in January. "Genkibowl VII" will have you "take over Steelport for a sporting tradition totally and utterly unlike any other." Following that will be "Gangstas in Space," an intergalactic science-fiction "misadventure," presumably set in the cosmos. Finally, "The Trouble With Clones" will finish the Season Pass releases in Spring 2012.

Once all the DLC is accounted for, you'll be able to start pining for Saints Row 4, recently teased by THQ's Danny Bilson.

Saints Row: The Third will be available on November 15th for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Unfortunately, after the joke that was SR2 DLC came to be and wasting $10-15 dollars on it, I'm definitely going to pass on this and wait for the package deals on Steam.

I too was burned by Tera Patrick but this might be an ok deal. Even if all three mission packs are somewhat short like the DR2 DLC, $20 for the three of them is a much better deal. :(

Eh, DLC just isn't worth it on day one at full price. Though I'd definitely pick them up in a steam sale bundle. Unless it gets some outstanding reviews ala some of FO3's DLC.

Eh, it's $10 compared to the Amazon price of 39.99 (pc download), compared to the THQ download price of 49.99.

Also, weren't there significant delays getting keys / pre-orders directly from THQ for Spacemarine?

Mosr dlc packs suck IMO. They feel rushed and contrived compared to the base game.

Undead Nightmare, Ballad of Gay Tony/Lost and Damned, Shivering Isles, Alan Wake special episodes, etc, etc.

Shivering isles was an expansion. Had fun in Gay Tony, though L&D wasn't that good.
