BioWare's VGA game teased with first image

BioWare, the developers behind the Mass Effect franchise and The Old Republic MMO, are set to unveil their next unannounced project at the Spike TV Video Game Awards next month. To tantalize fans, the company has revealed one teaser image of their new project, and it looks unlike anything the studio has produced. The graphic shows off a collision in a desert setting, drawing comparisons to Borderlands, Motorstorm, and the recently-released Rage.

Game Informer has the scoop, and is promising a first-look at the new Alan Wake game later today. This year's show will air on December 10th at 8PM EST, and will also feature new footage of Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

  As much as I haven't enjoyed BioWare's latest games and their installments, I'm quite excited at the idea of a completely new IP.

  I'm getting burned out on driving armored dune buggies through desert wastelands and tons of white people fighting over the food, I already live in Arizona.

  I could see them doing a car combat + RPG hybrid like Mass Effect was a FPS + RPG hybrid. That being said I doubt they will be making a straight up car combat only game.

  I'm almost ready to say I miss the WW2 scenario but then I remember playing the same two levels in every game and just hope for a new trend after modern military and post apocaliptic wasteland.
