"There's a soldier in all of us." Activision is reviving its marketing slogan from Call of Duty: Black Ops with Modern Warfare 3. Emphasizing that anyone can learn to have a good time in the franchise's online multiplayer offerings, the newest commercial--titled "The Vet & the n00b"--stars Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill, and Dwight Howard, in an explosive CG-filled live-action spectacle of a trailer.

This is actually Sam Worthington's second outing for the Call of Duty franchise, having starred as the lead character of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Also, what happened to Jonah Hill, and how did he lose so much weight?

Modern Warfare 3 will be available tomorrow.

I have no desire for this game... but that was a pretty impressive commercial for a game.

That's where I stood after seeing it on Sunday Night Football yesterday. I can't stand Activision, and thus refuse to play any of their games, but I was truly impressed by the commercial. Easily would've sold me on the game but for my aforementioned hate of Activision.

yes, playing BF3 (when I have time) - its fun, but man its rough when you are behind the power curve on the weapons - you have to be very meticulous with your approach and covering everywhere. Even then I end up getting killed a lot.

It's funny, because when the story first showed up, they embedded the actual youtube video from the official Call of Duty channel, but it seems like now they switched it to their own god-awful video player...so maybe it's not "ha-ha" funny, more like a huge "fuck you" funny.
