Fear Effect 1 and 2 coming to PS3, PSP
by Jeff Mattas, Nov 03, 2011 3:45pm PDTIt's a little early to say for sure, but the appearance of a few recently re-rated PlayStation games from Europe's PEGI ratings board likely indicate the titles are headed to the PlayStation Network. Kronos Digital Entertainment's 1999 release Fear Effect, and the 2001 sequel, Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix have both received a rating of PEGI 18 for extreme violence.
Eurogamer has also noted that Fighting Force 2--1999's Eidos-published, 3D beat-em-up from developer Core Design--has recently received a PEGI 16 rating for PlayStation 3 as well.
Again, there's been no official confirmation of release dates, pricing, or whether or not the games will make it to the PlayStation Store in Europe or the U.S.; however, it seems likely new PSone Classics are on the way.
