Frozen Synapse coming to iPad
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 02, 2011 7:30pm PDTMode 7's tip-top top-down tactical game Frozen Synapse is deploying to iPad, the English indie has announced. The new kneetop edition will support cross-platform play with the original PC, Mac and Linux versions.
The iPad version will enter beta "shortly," Mode 7 says, but the price and release date are not due to be announced until next year.
"We will think about Android after we see the results of iPad, but we have no current plans," the developer notes on Twitter.
"Despite my lumpen, sausage-like digits, I am particularly excited about Frozen Synapse coming to the iPad," Mode 7 Games joint managing director Paul Taylor said in today's announcement. "I look forward to flicking my little green men around the place with wanton abandon."
