Gears of War 3 'Horde Command' DLC now available

[Update] The DLC is now available.

[Original Story] Gremlins have "temporarily" delayed the release of Gears of War 3's multiplayer-expanding Horde Command Pack, which was due to launch today. Techies are scrambling to chase the blighters out, but there's no word yet on when it'll be ready for release.

"A technical issue" is behind the hold-up, Epic Games community manager Will Kinsler explained in a forum post announcing the delay. And that's as specific as Epic gets regarding the cause.

As for fixing it, Kinsler added, "We have folks working around the clock to resolve this issue ASAP so you can all play and enjoy the Command Pack."

The Horde Command Pack will bring new maps, Horde mode fortifications, playable characters, and weapon skins. It'll cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10), or come with the discounted DLC Season Pass. Until it arrives, you can always watch Epic's Cliff Blezsinski and Rod Fergusson explain what's in the Pack, if you fancy.
