Capcom is converting its two formerly Wii-exclusive Resident Evil rail shooters into PlayStation Move titles. The Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles are coming to the PS3 in one package, titled the "Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection." No additional details, including release date and pricing, have been announced.

The announcement continues a trend of HD revamps of Wii games on the PlayStation 3. Since the introduction of the Move motion controller, Sony's platform has seen ports of No More Heroes, Dead Space: Extraction, and more.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is based on the events of Resident Evil 0, 1, and 3--largely retelling the stories of these games from a new first-person perspective. You'll play as eight characters over the campaign: Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Hunk.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is based on the events of Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica, and tells a new story that happens before the events of Resident Evil 4. You'll play as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jack Krauser, and Steve Burnside.
