Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector's Edition unboxed

EA has released a video showing off the various bonuses that come in the Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector's Edition.

The Old Republic is coming mere days before Christmas and on first night of Hanukkah, so chances are pretty good you Star Wars fans will be unwrapping a big box of Jedi this holiday season. Just in case you want to watch your gift get unwrapped before you get a chance to do it yourself, EA has released a new unboxing video for the Collector's Edition of the game.

As previously reported, the $149.99 Collector's Edition includes a Darth Malgus statue from Gentle Giant, a journal of Jedi Master Gnost Dural from Chronicle Books, a soundtrack CD, security key, a map of the galaxy, and access to an exclusive Collector's Store. Plus you get the bonuses from the digital edition like the Flare Gun, Training Droid, personal HoloDancer, HoloCam, and STAP vehicle. Meanwhile, all pre-orders get a color stone to change their lightsaber to yellow with a black outer shell.

      That collector store better not be lame; as in just base items +10% bonus. So instead of 5 uses of health recovery you get 6 (and all low level stuff too) for the price of 5. But, I guess that's what they have to do not to give a noticeably unfair advantage to those that chose to pay more.

      Already had mine ordered when they went on sale at midnight in July. You can actually start playing before the 20th, if you registered your order fast enough to get into Early Access.
