Hulu Plus will be available on both the Nintendo Wii and 3DS systems later this year. The subscription service, currently available on PS3 and Xbox 360, will allow Nintendo fans to stream many television shows, including the current seasons of popular series from ABC, FOX, NBC, and more. The Plus service currently runs for $7.99 a month, with limited advertising.

In addition to the Hulu announcement, Nintendo detailed the upcoming 3DS system update, which will add the ability to record 3D video.

At the end of November, Nintendo will release a 3DS system update that will allow the 3DS to record up to 10 minutes of 3D video, and create their own 3D stop-motion animations. In addition, StreetPass Mii Plaza will be updated with new puzzles, and Find Mii will receive a new dungeon. "Other features will be announced in the future," Nintendo promises.

Finally, Nintendo has announced one more freebie for 3DS owners. Coming in December is Swapnote, a new app that allows 3DS owners to send 3D messages to their friends via SpotPass and StreetPass. You'll be able to write messages in 3D, and include pictures and sound. We hope you have classy friends on your 3DS friends list--otherwise, don't be shocked when you find a 3D picture of someone's junk in your inbox.
