I am john romeros bitch
q3test : innovative, free, stable as hell and more fun than a bagful of kittens
carmack : absolute inspirational fucking genius, i respect that guy like noone else in gaming except bungie : )
dk : boring piece of shit tryhard gay waste of space that no-one even cares about
romero : tryhard wannabe mexican twink who thinks he is SO good, but isn\'t! have you *heard* some of the bullshit he says? he\'s hilarious ..
so what\'s the point? i am grateful to id software for q3test, i am grateful for everything they have done for the gaming world. ion storm, and john romero, and all their apoligists here, can go and get fucked.
ps i also think nv10 is going to OWN voodoo4 and k7 kicks pIII ..
multi is where its at
>oh, you HAVE to download q3test?...i thought we did it because we WANTED to.
Exactly, nobody is forcing you to do anything with Daikatane either.;)
#23
>Romero attracts negative attention to himself with his holier-than-thou demeanor.
It seems that way cuz he was always available to press, while lot of other(READ:Carmack) think they are above common gamer and don\'t give a fuck.
>How is Q3 different? It\'s actually worst cuz you have to download the >demo(test)
oh, you HAVE to download q3test?...i thought we did it because we WANTED to...its not like beta testing with q3test because beta testers would have a responsibility to give feedback...you can d/l q3test and play it all you want and not do a damn thing for id...and its not like q3test is all buggy and you have to deal with that, q3test is more solid than most other \"finished\" games i have on my computer...
anyone that played the original mplayer test knows that
the gameplay is much like the original quake\'s.
wait till the final game comes out .. its all about gameplay
not the engine that makes the game .. just because quake3 is
prettier doesnt mean it is more fun
>q3test is different. it is a public test not \'send us your resume and >maybe you\'ll make the cut\"
>To me that sounds like we want some unpaid labor which is all too >common
How is Q3 different? It\'s actually worst cuz you have to download the demo(test) and you don\'t get shit in return, with Daikatana at least you\'ll get some freebies and chance to get a job in the gaming industry.
What\'s your motto, if the game name doesn\'t start with \'Q\' it\'s not good? Very close minded indeed.
i reckon it\'s just sad tho this \"dk is shit\" attitude when it sounds so promising
g\'night
and #6 wtf do you think we\'ve all been doing with q3test for the past few months?
Am I the only one saying \"what the hell\" here? I realise that, yes, there are professional beta testers, experienced at finding bugs. But, if they\'re also testing gameplay, why not let some newbies in? I\'m sure they could get some good suggestions..
Of course, this is all moot considering Daikatana should have died a long time ago.
