L.A. Noire: Complete Edition confirmed for consoles too
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 20, 2011 6:30am PDTPublisher Rockstar announced last month that the PC version of L.A. Noire would be a 'Complete Edition,' including every downloadable content pack, and now it's confirmed a similar package for consoles. While PC gamers have had to wait a few months for Noire, they will at least get the Complete Edition first.
On top of the base game, the Complete Edition packs all the DLC weapons and outfits, the 'Nicholson Electroplating' Arson case, 'A Slip of the Tongue' Traffic case, 'Reefer Madness' Vice case, 'The Naked City' Vice case, 'The Badge Pursuit Challenge' side-quest, and PlayStation 3-exclusive 'The Consul's Car' Traffic case.
L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15, priced at $49.99. Given that the bonus content (that which you can buy, at least) only costs $12, and Noire's list price is $40 nowadays, it's not a massive saving, but it certainly is the definitive version.
The PC Complete Edition is slated to launch slightly earlier, on November 8, also at $49.99.
L.A. Noire creator and developer Team Bondi recently shut down, due in part to owing over $1 million in unpaid wages.
