Uncharted 3's launch trailer makes a big wave
by Andrew Yoon, Oct 19, 2011 3:00pm PDTTo kick off its nationwide tour with AMC Theaters, Naughty Dog has released a brand new launch trailer for its upcoming Uncharted 3. Although the event focused largely on a competitive multiplayer tournament, attendees were just as excited to see new footage of the single player campaign.
While Uncharted 3's story is still a closely-guarded secret by Naughty Dog, the new trailer shows Drake on his quest to find the "Atlantis of the Sands," a journey that will have him and Sullivan go against "the occult treachery of a shadowy clandestine organization and its ruthless leader."
The trailer shows off a number of returning characters, such as Elena and Chloe. The developers wouldn't reveal the nature of Elena and Nathan's relationship for the third game, but an obviously distressed Elena questions Nathan: "You're going to keep going aren't you? For what? Treasure?"
"Admit it, you love all this as much as I do," Drake replies. It's true, isn't it?
Uncharted 3 will be available on November 1st.
