EA has been releasing a new video of Battlefield 3 every few days now. The last two featured destruction and vehicles. What happens when you combine the two? You get a trailer for the game's multiplayer mode, obviously.

You'll see tons of new footage of the nine maps announced for the game at launch. Stay tuned towards the end, and you'll also see footage of the upcoming Back to Karkand expansion pack.

The DLC expansion pack will be free for everyone that pre-orders the game. Included in the DLC are four classic Battlefield maps, remade in DICE's new Frostbite 2 engine: Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula.

Battlefield 3 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 25.

Awesome, but how long after release until people start running 24/7 "No Vehicle" Karkand servers? That's what killed BF2 for me.

Really? I actually preferred it since Karkand was such a great infantry only map. Vehicles always ruined it for me, allowing people to bypass the choke points and spread the action out too much

I never got to play much BF2 online, but if it's like no vehicle Oasis games in BC2 then bring it on, that's always fun. If I want vehicles I can change servers :-/

All maps will have both BF maps will have a gamemode for infantry only gameplay. So you won't have to worry about not having the Classic modes to play.

It was a nade/claymore fest, but that didn't prevent a good player from getting shit done.

There were still plenty of good BF2 servers for a long time.

Welcome to the ADD gaming generation. BF3 is so much more like Cod and those games, people needs instant action because they are so busy with their lives they don't want to form squads and strategize, they just want fucking Quake with military settings.

Hopefully someday soon someone will make a game like Tribes1 or the first 2 BF titles. Im not buying BF3, Im PC mostly and it just looks like a smoke and particle festival for kids.
