It's been nearly one month since the release of a PS3 firmware update. If you miss seeing the soothing firmware installation screen, you're in luck. Sony has released yet another incremental update. But for once, it's not mandatory.
What the update provides is, once again, incredibly vague. "Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved," the patch notes. That's the same line Sony's been using for most of its incremental updates.
The last major update was 3.70, released in August, which added the Automatic Update feature.
