Capcom has finally confirmed what we've already known: an HD collection of Devil May Cry games is in the works for PS3 and Xbox 360. The Devil May Cry HD Collection bundles the original Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition in one retail package for $39.99. It will be available in early 2012. As is standard for the growing assortment of PS2-era re-releases, the HD Collection will have enhanced widescreen visuals, "bonus content," and of course, Trophies and Achievements.

        2nd.

Onimusha was the birth of my love for this style of game.

I'd kill for an Onimusha remake, reboot, or HD collection.

          I don't even care if it's 16:9 - just working on my PS3 is all I want!

Nice, that looks quiet better, and I noticed the additional lighting or partical effect in the second screen, the first one the effect is really faint.

When does the new one come out?

There are no particle effects in these screens. The PS2 version does look considerably better if you are using it with the display that it was made for (a CRT) these comparison shots always fudge to make it look like a quantum leap. There isn't as much resolution for detail in the older version but it does look much crappier on an HDTV than it should.

        3, 1, 4, 2 is the order I tend to rank them.

          I would probably rank em
          3 >>> 4 > 1 >>> 2

Yeah, 1 hasn't aged well. Two things that would be nice to have implemented in DMC1 would be an option to customise the controls to make them match 3 and 4's superior controls, and add a Gold Orb mode option. I personally don't have the time or patience to play the Yellow Orb mode anymore, but would like to replay DMC1

2 was so bad they should just omit it from the collection.
