Batman: Arkham City launch trailer ties it all together

The launch trailer for Batman: Arkham City details the conflict with Hugo Strange, and serves as a reminder of all the villains Batman will encounter.

It seems like recently a week wouldn't go by without a new villain or character reveal for Batman: Arkham City. Now, as the game sets to release on consoles next week, Rocksteady has released a launch trailer that highlights the main conflict with Hugo Strange, and briefly teases the full gallery of villains.

If nothing else, this trailer is dense. It addresses the death of the Waynes, Batman's solitude, various psychopaths, and still leaves room for Batman to punch thugs, as he has been known to do. Check out the trailer below.

Honestly, one of the best trailers I've seen for a game. So pumped!

It'll be out on Stream. You can already redeem codes for it (if you've purchased a new video card lately)

One of the best trailers I've ever seen. Though in all fairness, they have Eigthy+ years of Batman mythos to pull from, so there's that.

Lots of devs could have drawn on that mythology. Rocksteady knows how to USE it.

I was just trying to divide it against other games that are great, and might have great trailers, but don't have the emotional weight and mythos of a long history to back them up. That's all.

Is this getting a world wide release? If so I'm pretty curious to know what Japanese think of this game. If they're as pumped as us. Or do they even know anything about Batman?

Check ebay for nvidia promo codes too, once redeemed at Geforce, they give a steam code.

Nabbed a code earlier for £16, beating out Greenmans £20.40 with the coupon, now its sat in my steam happily.

It'd be great except their site refuses to authorize my card - it even lists the choice of Armed Forces: Europe as a dropdown in the address area then refuses to acknowledge it. Nice one. DERP!

I still would like to know who Rocksteady is staffed by. Are these guys pros that left another studio years ago? Rocksteady came out of nowhere with B:AA.
