Worms Crazy Golf teeing off next week
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 14, 2011 9:45am PDTWorms is becoming a little more peaceful--only a little, mind--next week, when Worms Crazy Golf will crawl onto PC and iOS devices, developer Team17 announced today. The PlayStation 3 edition will follow in a fortnight.
The PC edition will be released through Steam on October 19, alongside the iThings version. While the PlayStation Network edition launches on the same day in Europe, in North America it's not due until October 25. Pricing hasn't been confirmed yet.
Team17 is celebrating the announcement with a new trailer showing off the Pirate Cavern Course. It's a little-known made-up fact that pirates were keen golfers. In fact, many corsairs carried parrots as reminders of the joy of sinking a birdie.
