As we noted earlier, all pre-order "exclusive" DLC for Batman: Arkham City will be made available for purchase after release. GameStop has inadvertently confirmed this, revealing the dates and prices for three upcoming DLC packs. The first pack will be the Nightwing character pack, available on November 1st for $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points). Nightwing will feature his own "unique gadgets and special moves," and is playable in all challenge maps in the game. The DLC includes two additional challenge maps: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. The pack also contains a bonus Animated Series Nightwing character skin. The next release will be the Robin character pack, available on November 12th, also for $6.99. This add-on will be available for free with pre-orders at Best Buy. The retailer has since taken the listings down, but not before the Arkham City forums (via CVG) spotted them. Since then, Warner Bros. has confirmed the dates for both the Robin and Nightwing DLC.

According to GameStop, the Skins pack will be available on December 6th for $4.99 (400 Microsoft Points). It's unclear what will be included in this DLC bundle, but the above image shows some of the possible outfits. There are some other DLC plans still unaccounted for. Batman's Kevin Conroy promised that additional "episodes" starring the Bat would be available, and Catwoman is supposed to get an expansion pack as well.

Yeah, same here. I'll just wait for the inevitable sale on the GOTY edition a year later.

Besides, that gives me time to start and finish Batman: AA

Well that explains it, if you had beaten AA and were a fan of it there'd be no way you could wait for GOTY.

All the more reason to wait and save monies!! :) My time will be better spent murdering my opponents on the BATTLEFIELD 3

Y'know, I played through AA twice (very unusual for me) and loved it, but for whatever reason I'm not on the bandwagon for the sequel. Same with Demon's Souls / Dark Souls. Kinda feel like the original did enough in that space to satisfy me.

If the situation with BioShock / BioShock 2 is any indication, that probably means I'll change my mind in a year or so and pick it up.

Played AA, loved it, but I too will wait for GOTY. I don't like justifying the DLC BS that so many companies are pushing these days.

I bet that the Arkham Asylum Costume will be replaced by the Sinestro Corp Costume, or that all of those costumes will be included plus a Sinestro Corp. But needless to say, I'm so stoked for Nightwing and Robin DLC!

So is this going to be on STEAM or no? Not seeing it available for pre-order at all, or even on STEAM. :(
