Dragon Age: Redemption trailer features stabbing, flirting

Dragon Age: Redemption starts next week, and a new trailer shows off some of the action and dialogue.

The Dragon Age: Redemption web series is starting next week, so it seems like an apt time to release a snazzy new trailer to promote the show. In this new bit of footage, the elf Tallis (Felicia Day) narrates some inner monologue, squeezing her thoughts between moments of stabbing, threats of stabbing, and will-they-or-won't-they banter with the male lead.

The web series starts October 11, and wouldn't you know it, that's the same day the Mark of the Assassin downloadable content drops for Dragon Age 2. Tallis features as a prominent character in the DLC as well, and is voiced by and modeled after Felicia Day. Corporate synergy, folks.

Check out the trailer below.

I wonder about the name "Redemption". Are they trying to make up for DA2's crappiness by giving us Felecia Day?

I'd call that a redemption. Love me some Felecia Day

I enjoyed DAO right up until the credits started rolling, but then I was like "that was the story?".

It's not hat I didn't like it, but the "main story" consisted of the beginning and the end of the game. The bulk of the game was side-quest.

I agree, its not DA1 or Drakensang the river of time but its very good, sure it has issues like the repetitive areas, you can not go everywhere etc but its still a good game considering they did all of it in a years time along with a new DX11 engine for the PC I would defiantly not call it shit.

3 will will amazing probably unless they optimize it then its game over.

        I agree, brutal :(

I have a feeling that I bet Shackers could do better DA series :( if we combined our skills.

That was way way better, cool, see if you put a little effort things could be a total different story.

Sometimes you wonder if people watch there stuff back, do they really go "awesome" or go "good enough we must keep this low budget, need to make a large profit on it".

          Eh who knows.

I think the real question here is... Is there or is there not elf sex in this thing. At this point that is probably the only thing which would get me to watch this.

I wonder if the DA series will be like mass effect? wild adjustments across each title? what's in store for dragon age 3 and mass effect 3?

This sub-title is quite indicative of what Bioware hopes it will do with this game for this IP. We shall see if it deserves it.

The video was a third of intro crap, it doesn't look very promising! I hope it's just something they did for fun and not an actual movie.
