Infinity Blade 2 announced for iPhone 4S, iOS 5

Mike Capps from Epic Games took stage at Apple's "Let's Talk iPhone" event today. Why? He wanted to show off Infinity Blade 2, running on Apple's newly announced iPhone 4S. The phone comes equipped with a new chip called the A5, which promises graphics performance "up to 7 times faster than in the previous iPhone." Taking advantage of the new hardware is Infinity Blade 2, which promises to have "visuals that you've never seen on a mobile device," according to Capps. "This may look pre-rendered, but it's not," Capps said at the event. Would you agree?

Infinity Blade 2 will be available on December 1st and will take advantage of iOS 5 features, such as iCloud, which allows profiles and save games to "transfer seamlessly between devices." While the announcement says the game will support iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, it's unclear if support will expand beyond the current generation of hardware.
