Ghost Recon: Future Soldier coming March 6
by Xav de Matos, Oct 03, 2011 2:30pm PDTEarlier today, a plethora of retailers revealed that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Solider would arrive on March 6, 2012. Moments ago, Ubisoft has confirmed the date.
The near-future game features the Ghost Recon team venturing to far off locales such as Norway and the Middle East, to combat a force that have occupied Russia.
Originally expected to launch at the end of 2010, Ghost Recon: Future Solider has since been delayed multiple times. Ubisoft last pegged the game's release between January 1 to March 31, 2011. Despite the hold on the game's release, Ubisoft told Shacknews in June that the game's Xbox 360-exclusive beta--which was announced in 2010 alongside Splinter Cell: Conviction's release--is still in the works.
Ghost Recon: Future Solider is planned for release on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, and Nintendo DS.
