Available on both PS3 and Xbox 360, the Limited Edition includes the game, special package art created by Yoji Shinkawa, and a 248 page "The Art of Metal Gear Solid" book.
Unfortunately, no price was set on the limited edition package. The regular edition of the game will be available for $50.

Nothing. Nothing at all. Dumber than rocks even on European Extreme mode on the other hand, and I'm going to pipe up and say something.
>MGS2 had a worse Protagonist, a sillier narrative, and was generally just not as fun as MGS3.
All three of those are debatable. Especially the last point.
>Also, how hard exactly was it to once in awhile navigate a menu during a game? Especially when the entire idea wasn't "Run and gun, CONSTANT ACTION", but "Stealth, slow and steady"?
There's nothing slow at all about going to an out-of-game menu screen to manage inventory, eat food, etc. At the heart of it, that's something that works against a lot of Hideo's simulation-minded gameplay. I can get into the RPG-like aspect of it but it isn't as polished as the established gameplay by a longshot, and its presence harms the other.
>If for no other reason than we don't have to deal with animu-face Raiden, MGS3 was better.
Well that face was there when I played the game, not sure how you avoided it. :D
>Why would you even argue this?
Because I love the shit out of the series and MGS3 does not age so well. It even had disappointing aspects on my first playthrough.
>I don't understand the mentality "Oh no, they are saying MGS3 is the best game, but it was never on an Xbox so I better argue it!" Is that's what is going on?
Na, there are assloads of faults with it that it would have had in its current form even if it had made it to the XBox, I wouldn't even hold out hope that they would have fixed the 30fps problem.
>Because this whole thread was about the fact that Xbox-only players are finally getting to play both Peace Walker and Snake Eater.
Then address those guys.
>We weren't arguing, we were just having a nice time talking about how great MGS3 and the MGS games in general were.
Making up for lost time?
>Or do you just like to segue conversations about how much people love a series of games into your own personal pet peeves?
Is this game sacrosanct for being your favourite or something? Does your critical eye go out the window just because you enjoy a game? Am I just the retard for pointing out observations in a discussion like we're all adults?
