I (for the record) really liked Dark Void, go ahead and spent the five bucks you know you want to. Anyways again and always thank you for these weekend posts.

I would spend the $5 for it if it weren't being sold by impluse; literally any other company on the list would be fine, but I want to make sure that not one god damned cent of my money goes to gamestop.

I actually bought DNF on Impulse for 9.99 (only because it's a steam game) but their checkout system was messed up and I got double charged, I posted a ticket to get a refund 5 days ago and they just now got back to me. The only way I will ever get games from them if it's a really good deal and uses Steam. I will say their system is really cumbersome and shit so far. Sorry I didn't notice it was for sale on Impulse

          What's not working for you?

A few Steam links were broken and the OnLive deal too, because for some reason the latest version of Firefox often neglects to include http:// when copying links. I've fixed those, though, and everything else looks to be ship-shape.

What kind of shape is Dead Island in now? Is it worth the $37?

I played the whole thing without a game-altering bug. I might have been lucky and I didn't start at launch.

but just ONE person... 4 player coop is a cluster fuck and way too easy.

Its so lame how other players can bump you around and you can't run through people ala L4D. It makes tight corridors really frustrating in a 4 player game.

I'd recommend going changing the online settings to lan or to private slots and avoiding co-op for the first act at least.

I just bought F.E.A.R. 2 on gamersgate and the key does not activate on Steam. Unless the thing I'm downloading hooks into Steam then it appears that the gamersgate copy is not Steamworks. Which is very odd since the Metro 2033 I got on that site does.
